I use my air fryer and air fryer/toaster oven a LOT, especially in summer. Last week, I plugged in the latter–it turned on for a second and then died. I tried tripping the breaker, but that wasn’t it. I figured I’d killed yet another appliance from over use.
I spent a lot of time researching a replacement and settled on a smaller unit; the one I had was so big it didn’t really get air-fried things crispy, though it was big enough to do most of the things my oven could. This new one is also supposed to grill.
I’ve never had a grill.
When the air fryer/toaster oven/grill came, I plugged it in. Its lack of response is how I found out the outlet wasn’t working. In fact, two outlet sets in the kitchen aren’t working.
In other words, I’m down four outlets, but I have two toaster ovens, three air fryers, and a grill.
Le sigh.

I just recently had the opportunity to talk with an electrician that I’d hired to fix similar problem my tenants were having. Maybe some of the stuff he was telling me would also be useful to you? I offer my apologies if these things are already obvious to you or if they aren’t helpful.
He wanted us to make sure the breaker had been pushed all the way “off” and then back “on” again. The tenants sent me a video showing their attempt to comply. I think I’m pretty handy and what I saw on the video seemed fine to me. But when the electrician showed up, he told us the mistake we were making was not fully turning it “off” first. Even though it seemed like we were doing this correctly, I guess nobody pushed it off far enough to allow it turn back on.
He also told me that those outlets with the push-buttons sometimes go bad. He called them GFCI outlets. Those are not too difficult to replace, though I know working with electricity can be intimidating and sometime seven dangerous.
I’d guess that since it was plugged in to one of your outlets when you first noticed the problem, it seems likely it’s either the circuit breaker itself or the GFCI or outlet it was plugged into at the time. If not that, maybe it’s one of the other outlets that no longer works?
I wish you the best of luck with your electrical problems and with your wealth of small appliances!
